About Me
I’ve always struggled to write about myself—how exactly should I introduce who I am?
Lean into a literary style, and it feels pretentious. Rattle off a plain chronological list, and it’s tedious. So I’ll just write whatever comes to mind, casually.
Zhu Zi Shi Bu Qiu Cao (Bamboo is an evergreen grass). Someone once asked me why I chose this name. I was lost for words then, my mind whirring with thoughts for a while, and all I could reply was: No particular reason, I just think it sounds nice.
I’m a QA engineer—aka a “test ape” in the tech circle. I keep this blog first to document the technical knowledge I’ve gained in my work, and second to jot down things that spark my interest.
There’s also a more heartfelt reason behind it. I think time is like a flowing stream, trickling on endlessly. Life is but a small cycle in this current—how long can this little flow last? When the stream of life dries up, we take nothing with us. So I want to leave more behind, if only some faint traces for others to see.
I enjoy listening to music, watching movies, reading books, and hiking.
